Millions of children are orphaned in Africa each year and Uganda is no exception.
Aids, malaria and civil war continue to take their toll, leaving children homeless and destitute.
New Life Blessed Children’s Centre is taking a bold stand against the poverty, disease and destruction facing these children.

Undaunted by such deadly devastation is a courageous couple of great faith, Pastor Moses and Annet Zirimenya. When he was a child in Uganda Pastor Moses remembers fleeing in the night with his family to escape Idi Amin’s reign of terror. This traumatic experience created a deep desire in his heart to rescue orphaned children and give them hope for their future.

Education is vital yet unattainable for orphaned and disadvantaged children in Uganda. There is no free public education system like we have in America. Our network of sponsors helps provide safety, food, clothing, health care and a quality education in a loving Christian environment.

Through the support of many caring people Harvest Home Ministries is currently providing tuition and support for over 150 children. New Life Blessed Children’s Centre is located on twenty acres of land that now houses primary school buildings and dormitories. A fully operating solar energy system supplies power to all the buildings. Our most recent addition is a well that supplies clean water for an entire region.

Our goals for the next 5 years include larger dormitories, a secondary boarding school, a clinic and an 18 course vocational training institute. Many children are still waiting to be sponsored so that they too can go to school and receive hope and new life.

The headquarters of Harvest Home Ministries are located in Winthrop, WA at the Methow Valley Ranch. The Methow Valley Ranch has been operating as a Christian Retreat Center since June 2000 under Methow Valley Ranch Ministries and MVR House of Prayer.

Harvest Home Ministries is a 501-C3 non-profit organization.

A Word from the Directors...

I love this work with Pastor Moses and his wife Annet! Interacting with 100's of e-mails, phone calls, and 5 visits to their home and orphaned children in Uganda, Africa, has established a deep bonding and friendship for our present partnership. The vision of rescuing 100's of children from a hopeless existence has mushroomed into many people's hearts joining with ours on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. I am challenged and awed as I see the emerging village, school, and dormitories for these children! A huge hooray for strength in common purpose and the Lord Jesus enabling all of us!

In 2006 I had the privilege of meeting Pastor Moses and Annet on a mission trip to Uganda. After being with the many children under their care, I felt God's love pouring out of me towards them and came home determined to find sponsors for them so they could go to school. It has been a joy to watch the Lord hand pick the sponsors for the child and vice a versa. I continue to marvel as the spirit of adoption falls on these kids when they receive their first letter from their sponsors. They feel loved and valued. At the New Life Blessed Children's Centre our children are happily thriving under the excellent care of their teachers and staff.I thank God for every sponsor He provides and the generous donations that are helping Pastor Moses and Annet fulfill their vision for their Ugandan children. With each yearly visit, these kids are growing leaps and bounds in their academics and faith. Every child is being given hope for their future and opportunity to be empowered to fulfill their God given destiny.

As a minister and co-worker of the Gospel with Harvest Home Ministries I have had the privilege to witness personally the dedication of their staff to Christ and their love for people. For the past 3 years my non-profit organization, Changing a Generation, has partnered with Harvest Home Ministry in raising sponsorship funds for Faithfully Blessed Children in Lwamasanga, Uganda. We have seen the fruit of their labor in the smiles on the faces of the kids who have received school tuition, uniforms, food and clean water. This ministry provides the opportunity for sponsors to establish a personal relationship with their sponsored child through letters, email and missions trips. Not only have the children been blessed by this correspondence, but it has provided purpose and a life changing experience for those involved. Without reservation I recommend Harvest Home Ministries to you and to your church. Be a part of changing a life either through prayer or through supporting a child in need.
